2009 Sportsmen Select 285LL Review

This 2009 Sportsmen Select 285LL Fifth Wheel has ton's of spectacular features that really makes it stand out from other fifth wheels for sale. But before I get into my thoughts on this RV, let me give you the specs of this particular model:

  • Length: 28'
  • Slides: 2
  • Class: Fifth Wheel
  • Sleeping Capacity: 4
  • Interior Color: Tan

One of the things that I really liked about this fifth wheel is that it has two slideouts. One for the living & dinning area and the other for the queen bed in front. This is really similar to the 2009 Sportsmen Select 285 RL, but the RL only has one slideout and a bench style dining area. The 285 LL that I'm reviewing has a standard kitchen table with four chairs surrounding. Personally I'm not a fan of the table style dining area and really like the bench style for the comfort that it brings, but that's just my personal opinion. 

With the 285LL, I really like the detail that this RV provides. The countertop in next to the sink has a curved style that enhances it's appeal as well as adding additional counter space. In the rear of the RV there are two recliner chairs with a small table between that's backlit by a large bay window. I really liked the number of windows that this RV has because it really lights up the interior during the day. Also, each window has color matching curtains that really add to the overall style and detail of the interior.
